Flow Assurance during the oil and gas production phase faces ever increasing challenges as we advance into deeper waters and more hazardous environments. PIC specializes in the remedial applications needed including asphaltene, wax and scale deposition control and remediation, as well as, hydrate removal. Customized chemical solvents are designed to remove organic, inorganic and mixed deposits with cold soak solvents, thermal and exothermic compositions. Virtually “Unstickable” Liquid Gel Pigs (LGPs) are used to map the topography and locate obstructions for optimized placement of treatment chemistry. Weighted hydrate dissolvers are designed to fall through produced fluids and contact and remove hydrate occlusions. The hydrate dissolvers offer minimum costs without the hazards associated with pipeline and refinery incompatible alcohol chemistry.
